need Rain!

Living in a house in Playa Pelada
without bars is not a very smart thing
unless you have one of these.
Sativ is our guard dog. If you break
into our house she will lick you to death.

I will take you all the way to San Juanillo and teach you how to snorkel. Only problem is I will lead you to the wrong snorkeling beach. I have since learned from my mistakes. :) THis is the fishing b each in SJ the snorkeling one is north and supposely one of the most beautiful spots in CR to do i
t at.

My father tried all week to catch a fish
untill he learned it's all about timing.
When the fish feed they feed in schools and will bite anything you throw at them. These are the locals during a mid day fish feeding. They all are using handlines because if you ask them rod and reels are made for boats. I saw a Tico with a 40lb rooster fish the other day he had caught on his hand line. I can't imagine what it took to get that joker in.

I had to put this picture in here because how often do you get to see ur parents chilling on a scooter. Miss you guys come back and visit soon.

View of the boca/nosara beach from Lagarita Lodge. Want to surf here. Just wait for hard offshore winds and low tide ri
sing. Can be very very fun without any people.

Villa Del Sol. Leave it to man to destroy beauty with concrete condos. This is located behind the "Squatters" House in Pelada.

Boca Nosara, Paddle this to surf the beach.

South Guiones Guanacaste Tree.

Old photo but I just want people to know Pelada gets good sometimes. It also gets about 5 times this size. The right hander in front of Olgas.

The irony of leaving a country of mass consumers only to come to Costa Rica to open a store selling bikinis cannot be explained. Simply put we do what we do to survive. Here is a photo shoot of some of our Latina style bikins. This paticular photo is of a mother and daughter who spent a few weeks surfign the area. The mother is one of Burton's first snowboard riders... Cool family. Thanks for letting us photograph you.

Ride a bike to Ostional when it's not Dry season. You will not be dissapointed.

Another shot on route to Ostional.

Del Mar Academy. Where the gringos send their kids to school. It's a love hate thing. :)

Swiney and Mother Mary come to Costa Rica

Mom and Dad are here visiting me . Here is a highlight to keep the family up to date.

Preflight Swiney scared shitless!! Thanks to all who talked dad into flying again after about 40 years.

When they finally got to the beach Sheri couldn't keep her hands off of the old man.. Get a room guys!!!

I stepped in between the two to cool them down... Playa Guiones.

When people ask me why I stay? I say this is why...

Our bikini shop in Guiones serves as a bi functional facility. During off hours it become a surf shack.

Playa Pelada high tide

Another shot of pelada at high tide.

Swiney found a new fishing hole. I hear the next day he actually fell into a hole in the reef.

I purchased a range rover. 74 and in mint condition. Now we "aint" got to ride the bikes everywhere. Ask swiney how it feels to ride bicycles for miles everyday.. Well he did it and surprised everyone.

I enjoy taking shots of Tini's rear. It makes her so angry. The price you pay when you sell bikinis.

San Juanillo, Costa Rica

Mom begged me to take glamour shots so I finally gave in."Psych!!"

Sea turtles everywhere this week. No surfing the 8 foot wave.
